PACE Forum 2019 continued the Pan-American PACE Forum as a reference space for education, dialogue, and collaboration in emergency medical care and global health, strengthening international participation and expanding the thematic axes addressed in its first edition.
ABOUT THIS EDITION.
Building on the successful 2018 meeting, PACE Forum 2019 consolidated itself as a space for collaborative knowledge-building and dissemination in the fields of emergency medical care and global health.
The Forum brought together multidisciplinary specialists and public health experts interested in applying clinical knowledge and innovative strategies in
low-resource settings and culturally challenging contexts, strengthening the impact of training “all the way to the last mile.”
OBJECTIVE.
To positively impact the
chain of survival
through instructor training, the review of tele-mentoring pilot projects, the creation of collaborative networks with leaders in global health, and the use of technology to develop new systems for implementation and medical training in low-resource settings.

SPEAKERS.
PACE Forum 2019 featured distinguished international and regional specialists. Additionally, specialists from Latin America and authorities from Mexico’s Ministry of Health participated, strengthening the Forum’s commitment to regional collaboration and the integration of mobile health (mHealth) and global medicine.
