PACE Forum 2020 marked the transition of the Pan-American PACE Forum to a virtual format, establishing itself as an international reference space for analysis, continuing education, and collaboration in emergency medicine and global health, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
ABOUT THIS EDITION.
PACE Forum 2020, held entirely in a virtual format, brought together national and international specialists to share scientific evidence, clinical experiences, and response strategies to address the challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic posed to emergency medicine and health systems worldwide.
This edition marked a turning point in the evolution of the Pan American PACE Forum, expanding its international reach and strengthening mechanisms for
continuing medical education and remote collaboration.
OBJECTIVE.
To share and analyze the most recent scientific evidence on the impact and consequences of
COVID-19 in
emergency medical care, as well as internationally implemented strategies for its prevention, management, and treatment.
